Kdrama: Marry Him If You Dare

Definitely Yoo Eun Hye is now on the top my list of fave korean actresses. She always manages to land in good dramas like Princess Hours, Coffee Prince and Lie To Me. Her current kseries, Marry Him If You Dare, is another romantic-comedy which is super fun to watch. Lee Dong Gun and Jung YongHwa are also two good reasons why you shouldn't miss this. I've watch their other series but their roles in this particular series made me stop and notice them! I don't know if the two of them just got cuter or their roles made them cuter! haha

Kdrama: Memorable Things/Scenes in I MISS YOU

There are two scenes in the korean series, I Miss You, that I'll never forget. First one, is the scene where Soo Yeon ( Yoon Eun Hye) and Jung Woo (Park Yoo Chun) were walking along a snowy road and then he kissed her. It was picture perfect! I think South Korea is on top when it comes to cinematography.

Second scene that I like is when Jung Woo playfully kissed Soo Yeon. He mentioned her favorite food in-between his kisses.. " Ddubokki...Sundae...Sprite".

And the three things I will never forget in this series are:

1. the red couple scarves

2. the bright yellow umbrella

3. Soo Yeon's clothespin hair clip

4. Soo Yeon's fancy nails ---  I find it amusing that no matter how depressing the situation Soo Yeon's in, she still managed to have perfect nails! :)

I Miss You Best Scenes

Wahhhhh! Scenes like these in the korean drama, I Miss You, makes me wanna be reincarnated as Yoon Eun Hye! How can one be so damn lucky! Girl, you already had a kissing scene with Gong Yoo in Coffee Prince and now this? And you get paid for doing this? How can life be so unfair??? haha

I'm almost finished watching the series, but I think these scenes will remain in my memory for a long time...
" Ddukbokki.....Sundae....Sprite" ... I also want those together with YooChun's kisses! And the hug after in episode 16... omg! daebakkk! :)

And they had to do it again in Episode 19! I'm soooo jealous! ^^

I Miss You Behind-The-Scenes

Most of the korean dramas I watch involves a love triangle. And almost all of them, I always root for the leading man. But there are few instances when I also fall for the second guy. The korean drama, I Miss You, is one particular example. Although the writers have made him a bad guy towards the end of this series, I still like Harry played by Yoo Seung Ho. There's something in him that makes me wanna hug him when he cries! :) Too bad he's leaving for military after this series. How come celebrity males tend to leave showbiz when I start to like them? Anyway, this is one particular behind-the-scenes clip is so cute. I'm as thrilled as Kim So-Hyun when she finally gets to have a picture taken with Yoo Seung Ho. I can't believe she's so tickled pink even if she's already an actress too. :)

2012 MBC Drama Awards

I always look forward to Korea's TV year-end award ceremonies...SBS..MBC..KBS.. I watch all them! haha
MBC is particularly special because I get to see my current fave actor, Park Yoo Chun.
I loved the video clips that fans uploaded... One particular part I loved in the show was when YooChun was asked to reenact the scene when he put an orange clothesline pin on Yoon Eun Hye's hair... and the way he called her " Seo Yeon-a..." OMG! His voice was so sexy and sweet! haha

Another part I loved is the presentation of the 3 child actors of "The Moon Embraces The Sun and I Miss You"- Kim So Hyun, Yeo Jin Goo and Kim You Jung. Watching them is like watching the future of korean
dramas! :)

Korean Series: I Miss You

I'm watching the series "I MISS YOU" all because it stars Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoo Chun! :) I can endure heavy drama just as long as my fave celebrities are in it!

I really have to commend the young actors, Yeo Jin Goo and Kim So Hyun. The intensity of JinGoo's acting is just WOW! It's like looking at the future YooChun, Hyun Bin etc :) I didn't like SoHyun's character in "The Moon Embraces The Sun" but her role in this series made me appreciate her acting more and more.

Korean Series: Missing You

I'm looking forward to watching MBC's new series this November7... it's MISSING YOU starring Park Yoo Chun and Eun Yoon Hye. It's definitely another tearjerker which korean dramas are known for by just looking at the posters and teasers but I think it's something worth watching. First, because Yoochun's the leading man! I love him in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Second, Eun Yoon Hye is the leading lady. She has a lot of good series under her name like Coffee Prince,Princess Hours, Lie To Me etc so this is a must-watch series! Third, I'm also excited to see Yeo Jin Ku and  Kim So Hyun again . I saw both of them in "The Moon Embraces The Sun" where they played the young king and queen. Now, they're paired again in this new series. Judging from the teaser, these two look like they're going to be big stars someday! :)

Korean Drama: Lie To Me

At last after a long drought of good korean romantic-comedy series, I came across SBS's LIE TO ME. This series is about a girl named Gong Ah Jung (played by Yoon Eun Hye) who gets involved in a web of deceit after lying that she's married to Hyun Gi Jun (played by Kang Ji Hwan), a hotel president from an affluent family. Complication arises when Gi Jun's ex fiancee and a close friend of his brother reappears in his life.

Actually, aside from the story, I'm drawn to this series because of its lead actors. I like Yoon Eun Hye. I like her in Coffee Prince and Princess Hours. I think she's one of the prettiest korean celebrities now. And for me, she's one of those actresses who can play cute and childish characters on screen and get away with it. Kang Ji Hwan also is more appealing here than his role in Coffee House. Watching Coffee House was pure torture for me. There were viewers who loved it but it took me weeks just to finish watching the series. So I'm really glad he was chosen to play the lead actor in Lie To Me.

The OST also has a cute melody to go with this cute series!

Yoon Eun Hye's My Fair Lady

Yoon Eun Hye's new TV series, My Fair Lady, will start on August 19 replacing Lee Dong Wook's Partner at KBS2. I'm actually excited to see this because it looks like a romantic-comedy series again which I really love. It seems that YEH has been making right choices these past few years. I like her previous series, Coffee Prince and Princess Hours and I bet this new one will be great too!

Here's a teaser for the series:

Here's the official My Fair Lady thread at soompi. Check it out!

Yoon Eun Hye's New Look

YEH in an autograph signing event for Zipel yesterday, June 20. She looked cute but I wouldn't want to have her new frizzy hair. That's for sure!

top excellence award

Yoon Eun Hye giving her speech after winning the Top Excellence Award. Go My Chan!

GHY vs YEH

2007 MBC Drama Awards Red Carpet ----

Gong Hyo Jin and Yoon Eun Hye seem to be wearing the same pair of shoes for the affair. I've noticed that korean celebrities are often caught wearing the same clothes or shoes in special occasions like this one.
