Two more weeks and it's Kpop Republic 2013 Concert in Manila!!!! :)

I'm super happy for all those die-hard fans who will finally get to meet their idols in flesh! 

Main Kpop groups included in this concert are: Shinee (I wonder if MinHo of the kseries, To The Beautiful You, is really cute in person... ), EXO-K ( Will they be performing again another OPM hit song??? ) and Dal Shabet. Other guest stars are: Soomin, Crispi Crunch and Christian Bautista (hmmm... why? ). The concert will be held on September 7, 2013 at the Araneta Coliseum. Concert will start at 7:30 pm and gates will open at 6 pm.

MinHo and Yuri Dance at 2012 SBS Drama Awards

The first time I saw the news of Yuri (SNSD) and  MinHo's (Shinee) dance performance in twitter, I immediately browse youtube if there's already a video upload. All I can say is WOW! Wow for Yuri's dress which was so sexy and her make-up too was nice. She was perfect. First time I saw the video, my first impression was that their performance was like watching a mediocre version of  the dance performances of "So You Think You Can Dance". Even the dance steps, I've seen them already in SYTYCD. Second time I watched the dance, I began to appreciate it. Yes, there were times when their movements weren't as precise as I wanted them to be... when they would wobble a little bit.. but I realized they were more of singers and not dancers. I commend them for pulling off such a complicated dance number. Yuri and Minho's posture was good and they were graceful too. I didn't even see a hint of nervousness in their faces. Actually their dance number reminded me of an article about korean idols. They say korean idols are trained to be total performers. Talent scouts get them at an early age and train them so that when these stars enter the entertainment scene, they know how to sing, dance and act. Now I know it's true.

Have you been following KBS World TV @ twitter??? Lately they've been tweeting behind-the-scene pictures of World Date With Shinee! These girls are super lucky! They got to have a super grand vacation in South Korea for free and not only that... they got to spend it with their idols, JongHyun and Key. Check out Filipina celebrity, Jessy Mendiola, with Shinee fan girls in this picture HERE. 

You can also follow Jessy Mendiola @ twitter and read her tweets regarding her korean trip. She even posted a picture of herself wearing Hanbok!  

Jessy posted a picture with NS YooJi. And since there's a gazillion of korean celebrities around, I had to resort to google and youtube just to find out about her. It turns out she's a korean pop singer who debuted in 2009. Her current single is  "If You Love Me" with Jay Park. I later remembered reading an article about her  dating Jay Park ( former 2PM member) because of the selca pic circulating in the internet. But I think it was just for promotions only. Korean celebrities love doing that to create a buzz in cyberspace.

To The Beautiful You Preview

First saw Choi Min-Ho when Shinee guested on Shinhwa Broadcast. I thought he was too feminine for me. But looking now at the nine-minute preview of his new series, To The Beautiful You, I think I'm going to have a new crush again! :)

Shinee, Winterplay and Mighty Mouth in Manila

Just came across this video today. Shinee, Winterplay and Mighty Mouth were in Manila for the Phil-Kor Friendship Festival just this week. I never thought that these groups have a lot of fans here. The program was hosted by Luis Manzano and VJ Isak.
