Good Bye Rain

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) is the reason why I started loving korean pop music way back in 2006. I didn't expect that I would be affected by his military enlistment but I felt a tinge of sadness when I saw him bid farewell to his fans this morning. Anyway, good luck Rain! Two years seem like an eternity but we'll still be waiting for you...aja! aja! fighting!

Rain's NIKON CF Shoot in Manila

Nice to see Rain enjoying his CF shoot in Manila. I wonder if he actually ate the "kwek- kwek" ( a filipino street food made up of boiled chicken eggs dipped in batter, dyed in orange and deep fried in oil). :)

Rain and Daniel Henney in Manila

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) and Daniel Henney visited the Philippines recently together with other korean celebrities Lee Jung Jin,Lee Na Young and Yoon Jin Soo to film their upcoming korean drama, The FUGITIVE. Click here for more press conference pictures.

Aside from the shooting, RAIN, also had his first concert at the Mall of Asia last September 11.

TV5 got the chance to interview Rain and Daniel for the promotion of The FUGITIVE. Rain was interviewed by Mo Twister (Yuck! Why him??????) and Daniel was interviewed by Ruffa Gutierrez.

I love Ruffa's interview with Daniel especially the part where Daniel asked for an autograph! How cute! :)

Rain's Manila Arrival

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) arrived in Manila last weekend. Thanks to his loyal fans from Cloud Philippines, I was able to watch his arrival via youtube. I was actually disappointed when I saw the clip. To me, he seemed like a snob. He didn't even smile while he was walking to his car. There were only a few people who gathered to see him but I think that since he's a celebrity, he should have made an effort to smile. It's his responsibility....his job! Who knows what the fans went through just to catch a glimpse of me. No matter how tired he was, he should have at least acknowledged the reporters or fans who were there. It really made me think how he values his Filipino fans. Will I buy the expensive ticket just to watch him? I guess not!

INTENSITY: Rain Concert with UKISS and Christian Bautista

OMG! So the concert will really push through! Oppa Jung Ji Hoon is coming!!!!!!!!!!I can't believe that finally RAIN will have a concert in Manila!!!!!!!! I don't care much about UKISS and I also don't like Christian Bautista! If ever I'm going to attend the concert, it will be because of RAIN only! :)
It's too bad that TV5 is the main TV network for Rain's Manila Concert. I was looking forward to seeing Rain in ABS-CBN's ASAP!
BTW, my fellow PEXER posted that Rain will be coming this September 2 already because he'll shoot some scenes for his korean drama, FUGITIVE.

It's Gonna RAIN in September!

OMG! OMG! OMG! I just found out that RAIN will be having a concert at the Mall of Asia this September 11!!!!!!!!!! I checked out TicketWorld and it's true!!! They already posted the details of the concert!!!!!!!!! I wonder who'll be his special guests in the concert....and how come there are no TV promotions yet of his upcoming concert????????

New Boy Group: MBLAQ

Another new Korean boy group, MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality), had their debut recently. This group caught my attention because the group is being handled by Rain's (Jung Ji Hoon) J-Tune Company and because one of its members is the younger brother of Sandara Park, Sang Hyun Park (aka CheonDoong).

Wow...they get to hangout with Rain!!!

Finally I got to see Goo Hye Sun and Rain's new CF for Tous Les Jours! Hye Sun's partner used to be Jo In Sung in previous commercials but I think because he's now in military training, the company had to replace him with Rain.

Rain's Ninja Assassin

Ninja Assassin is Rain's (Jung Ji Hoon's) second international movie following Speed Racer. The movie is directed by James McTeigue and co-stars Naomie Harris, Rick Yune, Ben Miles, and Sho Kosugi. The premiere showing will be on November 24 in North American. -dramabeans (I don't think it's a good idea to set the premiere almost at the same time as Robert Pattison's New Moon!!! That is what you call career suicide!!!)

I love you RAIN! But I'm so sooorrryyyy!!!! I think the movie is too violent for me. :(

We Believe In Rain

Rain (Jung Jihoon) together with his agency (JYP) and 2 South Korean promotion companies were ordered to pay more than $8 million to Hawaii promoters, Click Entertainment, for canceling a 2007 concert in Honolulu.

In light of this, CLOUDS from all over have created their own videos to support Rain.

I just found out that RAIN went to CEBU this week for a photoshoot for his clothing line, Six to Five. I wonder if the Cebuanos know Rain........or if they were aware that RAIN was in their city....:)

Rain In Berlin

Rain is still in Berlin shooting his latest project, Ninja Assassin but will be in Tokyo, Japan soon for a fan meeting.

Rain gets to sing Kung Fu Fighting after all. His song will be heard in the Cantonese version of Kung Fu Panda.

Cee-Lo Green and Jack Black was chosen to sing the hollywood version of the theme song of Kung Fu Panda entitled Kung Fu Fghting.



Apparently, Rain also recorded his own version but got rejected by Dreamworks. I had a hard time understanding the lyrics when I listened to Rain's version. I think that was a factor when Dreamworks turned him down. He really needs to polish his english pronunciation. But kudos to Rain for the effort.




Philippines' Sam Concepcion, on the otherhand, was chosen by Dreamworks to sing Kung Fighting for its Asian release. Here's a peek of Sam's version when he guested in ABS-CBN's Sunday show ASAP.

I was expecting something more from Rain's guesting....I thought there was going to be an actual interview. Rain probably is not ready enough for that kind of thing.
