Charice look really amazing in the latest issue of Preview Magazine. I love the make-up and the hairstyle. The hot topic right now is that people claim that her photograph was photoshopped. I don't think it was drastically altered which other people claim. Those who think otherwise should see this behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot. As you can see, she looks exactly the same. It's just that we are not used to that kind of make-up and hairstyle on her.
Teen.com recently started a mini-web series entitled "30 days with Charice". It's sort of a documentary of Charice's life as she enters the international music scene. New 4 to 5 minute -episodes are uploaded every wednesdays and thursdays.
Charice performed last November 30 at the Tree Lighting Event at Rockefeller Center. I love her rendition of Jingle Rock and My Grown-Up Christmas List. I also super love her make-over! :)
Charice and David Archuleta had a duet last November 21 at The Grove in Los Angeles, California. They sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". I think they look good together. Both of them are small but have wonderful voices! ha!ha!
I finally got to see Charice in the Glee Fall teaser!!! Even if they only showed a few seconds of Charice and Lea's duet, I still think it was awesome. But what's with Charice's humogous eyeglasses? It's freaking horrible!
I thought Muzit was a radio program but I found out that this is a new korean music program hosted by K.Will. It's nice that Charice was one of his first guests in the show. Here's the Endless Love duet of Charice and K.Will which was shown yesterday. I was actually looking for more videos of the show but the duet was the only one uploaded. :(
I just read from charicemania.com that aside from Star King, Charice will also guest inKim Jung-eun's CHOCOLATE. I've seen a couple of video clips from this show so I'm pretty excited to watch Charice's episode.
CHOCOLATE is a late night music program which began airing on March 10, 2008 on Tuesday nights at 12:35am on SBS replacing Lee Juk's Music Space. It was then moved to Wednesday nights at 12:30am, Saturday nights at 12:10am, and now Sunday nights at 12:10am. It is hosted by famed actress, Kim Jung-eun, who starred in highly-rated dramas such as Lovers in Paris and Lovers. (credit: wikipedia)
I guess for me, Korea's STAR KING really played a big role in making Charice a huge youtube sensation. Her Korean TV exposure which was uploaded in youtube was the reason why people behind the Ellen DeGeneres show noticed her.
She's back in Korea today as part of her 5-country Asian Tour to promote her debut album. Her STAR KING guesting will be taped on June 12 and it will be aired on June 24.
I wonder if she'll see Super Junior again...lucky girl! :)
She was mentioned yesterday in Star King. Check this video:

Here's the translation posted in youtube: SK just mentioned Charice ...basically, they said that there's a noona (like an older sister) that the child could look up to or there was someone they were reminded of? (not sure), they mentioned Charice who was a guest in the show years before when she was still very young and who got discovered by oprah and now who released an int'l album w/c ranked top 8 in BB 200 (not sure if they said she was the 1st asian to be in top 10 BB).. credit: sujuismblogspot.com
Here's the rest of her Asian Tour schedule: Philippines: July 15-18 Japan: July 19-21 Thailand: July 21-23 Malaysia: July 24-26
It's for real this time! Charice will play an exchange student in the next season of GLEE! Yehey! Now I really have to watch Glee religiously so that I can catch a glimpse of Charice. It's not yet certain whether she'll be a mainstay or a guest only...but it's still way okay for me!!!!!!!!! Charice really hit it big this time! :)
Charice is not part of GLEE after all. After all the hype in cyberworld, Charice denied (via twitter) that she's part of GLEE's second season. I've only watched one episode of this show and actually I'm not so thrilled about it. But with Charice as one of the mainstays, I thought this would make the show more interesting. Well I hope the GLEE management will reconsider Charice before the new season starts! I think it will really boost their ratings if they include her because more Asians will watch the show! :)
There's no stopping Charice. She's the first Asian to break into the Billboard album chart with her self-titled US CD debuting at Number 8 during it's first week of release. Her album is currently Number 4 in the Canadian music chart. And now, according toinquirer.net, it's confirmed that she's joining the second season of the popular US TV series, GLEE, not just as guest but as mainstay.
I was excited to watch this show but didn't get to watch it until now. Charice is really good. With regards to Justin Bieber's BABY, I began liking it when I heard Charice sing it in PerezTV! ha!ha!
Charice does Justin Bieber's BABY in PerezTV. Charice posted the link in her twitter account one hour ago. It has 65,057 hits so far. I actually like her version! :)
It's true. There are a lot of great singers in the Philippines. But there are only few people who are destined to be stars. One of the them is Charice. I was lucky enough to witness her journey in the entertainment industry. I was able to watch her when she joined a TV singing contest, Little Big Star, a few years back. At that time, she competed against Sam Concepcion who eventually became the first placer. I thought at that time that Charice had a great singing voice but in the "looks" category, I thought she couldn't compete with the other singers, so I expected Sam to win. But Korea's StarKing, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah and David Foster saw Charice's potential to be a great singer. Charice now has her new single to be released internationally on May 11 which tells us all to look beyond the physical appearance or whatever "celebrity look or image" is dictated by society and that talent alone can bring us to greater heights! Go Charice! :)
It's been a long time since I last posted news about Charice. Here's Charice singing "The Christmas Song" in The Early Show (CBS)last December 26, 2009.
I actually love watching this clip. Charice was singing "Listen" during the rehearsal for the Italian TV show,Ti Lascio Una Canzone, and you can see in the background that the Italian staff were already mesmerized by her voice. Galing ni Charice!
Charice once again received a standing ovation...this time in Italy last April 4, 2009. But nothing beats her performance when she guested in a korean show a few months back.
