I've been playing this song over and over again every time I'm online...haha My sister commented "Don't you ever get tired hearing the song?". My reply was " Duhhh ...NO!" haha

Okay I know I said before that their English version sounded like there were marbles in their mouths while singing...but after hearing the song a couple of times, I realized it's not that bad after all! :)

Super loved it instantly when I first heard the song. I hope they also filmed another MV where they sang the song in English.

The music video reminded me of Beyonce.. I don't know why...



Here's the English version. As I've tweeted, I wished they had an english teacher to help them in their pronunciation.. It sounded like they had marbles inside their mouths while singing...just my opinion :)

Wonder Girls at Teen Choice Awards 2009

Talk about luck! luck! luck! These girls are super lucky! OMG! The Wonder Girls attended The Teen Choice Awards at Los Angeles, California! They got to see all the hottest stars around...especially MY ROBERT PATTISON!!! waaaahhhh!!!! I'm gonna die of envy if I see a picture of them with Robert!!!!!

Wonder Girls' US TV Debut

The original Wonder Girls made their first US TV appearance at the Wendy Williams Show ( sino siya? ha!ha!). Of course I like Wonder Girls more than SNSD but I was surprised by the standing ovation..ha!ha! Was their performance worthy of a standing ovation????? Duhhh!

Wonder Girls' NOBODY (Philippine Version)

I just found out from my fellow PEX ullzang, gracielle, that the Philippines also has two versions of the Wonder Girls' Nobody. One performed by celebrities in ABS-CBN's ASAP and the other one performed by the SOP girls from the rival station, GMA 7.

My rants and raves:
1. I appreciated the Korean Wonder Girls after I saw the 2 Philippine versions! ha!ha!

2. Now I understand the lyrics of the English version of NOBODY! ( of course, as expected, English pronunciation is much better in our country). I think everyone will agree that So Hee of the Wonder Girls seems to be speaking in Korean even though she is already singing the English version... huwaattt???? ha!ha!

3. I like the get-up of the ASAP girls but the microphone was too high for them.

4. SOP girls were overcrowded. They're copying the Wonder Girls so there should be 5 GIRLS ONLY!!!!! Perhaps they should mimic also SNSD so that they can all include the girls in SOP next time! ha!ha!

Wonder Girls' english version of NOBODY is out. I definitely like the korean version...it sounds better. Listening to the english version makes me cringe with embarrassment.

Wonder Girls and the Jonas Brothers on US Tour

I think Korea's Wonder Girls hit the jackpot when they were asked to be part of the opening act for the US Tour of the Jonas Brothers this August. This means more exposure for them since the Jonas Brothers are really popular among the teens these days. According to news, the English version of two of their hit songs, Nobody and Tell Me will also be released this year. I just hope they'll be more fluent in English by the time the tour starts.
