Korean Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate, Ryan Bang, has a new show entitled 3Ow POwhz in Studio23. I caught a glimpse of the initial telecast of the show awhile ago and it looks promising. It's pretty interesting to see him roaming the streets of Manila- discovering and learn ng more about the Filipino culture. I would love to have a show too in "the land of kimchi"- me exploring Seoul and meeting all my oppas! ha!ha! :)

Tonight was the last eviction night of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash Edition. I'm relieved that Ryan Bang of South Korea got a slot in the PBB BIG 6. I was apprehensive at first when the standings of the remaining housemates were revealed a few days ago. Everyone assumed that he was in the last place among the teenternationals. But I guess people started voting for him so he managed to get a spot.

I hope that he wins first place this coming Saturday!!!

Korean Loveteam in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash

I think it's an illness in our Filipino culture. We, Filipinos, love to pair-up people in Pinoy Big Brother....JACIA (James and Tricia), BRETZIE (Brett and Fretzie), JAVON (James and Devon), JAMLI (James and Ann), TRIVAN (Tricia and Ivan), JAMZIE (James and Fretzie), VANZIE ( Ivan and Fretzie) and RYJEN (Ryan and Jenny). And among these pair-ups my fave is the RYJEN or KIMBANG tandem because they're cute and funny. Their love-hate relationship is so natural... Ryan Bang and Jenny Kim deny that they like each other that's why their relationship is exciting to watch. :)

Jenny is one of the nominees for eviction this week. Let's all save Jenny for the sake of the KIMBANG loveteam! ha!ha!

Koreans in Pinoy Big Brother

The Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition this year is pretty interesting to watch because of its foreign housemates. The Pinoy housemates live in the villa while the foreign housemates live in the apartment. Big Brother gives them a task or game each week and they compete against each other for a prize. Of the 10 teenternational housemates, 5 are koreans. At first I was kinda disappointed because I was expecting the guys to look like my fave korean celebrity crushes! ha!ha! But anyway, despite their inadequacies, I've learn to love them.

One particular housemate that stands out from the rest is Ryan (Bang Hyun Sung). He's such a funny guy! From the moment he was first introduced, he immediately captured the hearts of the viewers.( He has even become one of the fave housemates in online forums that I visit!) Probably he's just that talkative and good-natured that every time he's asked a question, you'll expect a barrage of answers. And what is so endearing about him is that he doesn't care less if he mispronounces a word or his grammar is incorrect. He just blurts out everything that comes to his mind.

This week the Pinoy housemates and the teenternational housemates were given a task to make their own intepretation of a song designated by Big Brother and make a music video out of it. The Pinoy housemates were given a korean song ( forgot the title) while the teenternational housemates were given the song " Butchikik". The viewers are given the chance to vote (thru text) which one is better. If the teenternational housemates win, one of them will have the chance to be a finalist in this edition.

I personally prefer the music video of the teenternational housemates. Their video is obviously more creative and fun. I'm hoping they'll win this task!

4 Minute in Manila

I just found out that 4 minute, a korean girl group, is in Manila. I first noticed this girl group a few days ago when their music video was shown in the MTV channel. Like 2ne1, their music is upbeat...catchy (which the koreans are good at!) so it's easy to like the song when first heard.
The group recently performed in Mall of Asia and if the rumor is true, the girls will also enter the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house later. This I have to see! ha!ha!

Here is 4 Minute's HOT ISSUE MV which I like...I just watched it a couple of minutes ago because I got super curious about them when I found out they'll be entering the PBB house.

Ateneo's pride, Robi Domingo, is safe again after surviving another elimination night in Pinoy Big Brother's Teen Edition Season 2. Yahoo!!!!!! He should get an award for having the most nominations and for surviving all of them. Some say he's not showing his true self because he's too good to be true. But hey, he can't help it if he's perfect, right? ROBI FOR THE WIN!!!!!
