Wow! This was totally unexpected! Lee Min Jung (of Big) and Mr Storm Shadow - Lee Byung Hun are dating! Apparently there were already rumors of them dating early this year but I was clueless! haha Such an unlikely pair... 12-year age gap... but that's love! :) For more details, check out allkpop.

After Daniel Henney's Xmen Origins: Wolverine, now it's Lee Byung Hun's turn to make South Korea proud. Lee, together with his co-stars, have been in Korea and Japan this week promoting G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra which will be shown this August.

I Come With The Rain trailer

The trailer of I Come With The Rain partly shot in the Philippines is out. The movie features Hollywood's Josh Hartnett, Korea's Lee Byung Hun and Japan's Takuya Kimura.

I'm thrilled that another asian star has penetrated the hollywood scene ( better if he was a filipino! ha!ha!). Lee Byung Hun will play the part of Storm Shadow, the ninja arch-nemesis of Snake Eyes (played by Ray Park) in the movie, G.I. Joe . What's so great about this is that --- not only does he get to do a movie with other hollywood stars like Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Joseph Levitt and many others....but he gets the chance to play a role one of the most famous toy characters in the 1980's.

I first saw Byung-hun in Once in A Summer with Soo Ae. I was really curious because I've been reading a lot of good reviews about him plus the fact that he has tons of korean fans. And of course, as expected, i loved his acting in that movie.

The movie will be released August 2009.

Oh well, I'll just have to watch Rain's Speed Racer first!
